Let’s talk about open kitchen shelving! I’ve always admired kitchens with open shelving and was super excited when I toured my now new apartment and saw shelves instead of cabinets. It’s kind of what sold me. Well... that and the soft close cabinets, the gas range stove, the dishwasher...
But, back to the shelves... One of my favorite things about open shelving is styling! I guess you can attribute that to my former days of visual merchandising at West Elm. But more importantly, open shelving makes it super easy to find and grab whatever you need! It can be a little challenging if you have OCD like me and prefer things to match, But that’s nothing a $20 basic white dish set from target can’t fix!
